ECBOCES Staff Onboarding Guide
Welcome aboard! ? This guide walks you through your first login, password setup, and how to use that same account to access Gmail and Zoom.
1. First-Time Login to ECBOCES.org
Open a web browser and go to: https://www.ecboces.org
Click Log in (top right).
Enter the username provided to you.
Click Log in.
This will redirect you to a Google login. It should autofill your email address.
Enter your password.
This should get you logged in and return you to the main page of the ECBOCES website.
2. Change Your Password (ECBOCES.org)
Your ECBOCES account controls access to other services, so this step is important.
While logged in to https://www.ecboces.org, click your name or profile icon (top right).
Select Change Password.
Enter:
Your current password
A new password (this must contain the following: At least 8 characters including uppercase, lowercase, number, text, and a special character (!&$ for example))
Click Save changes.
✅ This new password is the one you’ll use for Gmail and Zoom.
3. Log In to Gmail
Go to https://mail.google.com
Enter your ECBOCES email address (e.g.,
username@ecboces.org).When prompted, enter the same password you just set on ECBoces.org.
Complete any first-time Google setup prompts.
✅You’re now in your ECBOCES Gmail account.
While in Gmail, you will need to set up 2 step authentication. Follow THIS GUIDE to set that up.
4. Log In to Zoom (SSO Login)
Zoom uses Single Sign-On (SSO) with your ECBOCES account.
If using a phone, install the Zoom app. On your computer, open the Zoom app.
Click Sign In.
Choose SSO.
When asked for a company domain, enter: ecboces
You will be redirected to the ECBOCES login page.
Log in using:
Your ECBOCES email
The same password you set earlier
✅ You now have access to Zoom using SSO.
